Rolling Stone: Local Favorites at Rainbow Records

Rolling Stone’s “Local Favorites” (issue 959) listed the top-selling albums at Rainbow Records in Newark, Delaware, for the week ending September 12, 2004. Omnisoul’s self-released Happy Outside came in at number 4, between Maroon 5 and Björk.

This mention put the band on the radar of record labels, which led to showcases in New York City and eventually a deal with Wind-up Records.
